DRAFT MODE GUIDE

FROM ROOM CODE TO FINAL LADDER

Draft Mode is a live exact-season NBL snake draft for 2–8 teams. Every team builds one legal PG, SG, SF, PF and C lineup before all rosters enter the same 33-game simulation.

CREATE, JOIN OR WATCH

The host chooses the number of teams and a 30-second, 60-second, 90-second, 2-minute, 5-minute or no-timer draft. Players join before the room starts. Anyone can use WATCH LIVE without taking a team place or gaining draft controls.

GET EVERYONE READY

Every connected human team selects I’M READY. Before starting, the host can rename teams, resolve duplicate names, close new team joins or remove an unready or disconnected remote team to reopen that place for a replacement. The host then locks one exact NBL season and reveals a random first-round draft order.

DRAFT A LEGAL FIVE

The order reverses each round. Draft one valid PG, SG, SF, PF and C. Only players who fit the currently open lineup positions are shown. Use COMPARE to place up to three selectable players side by side using public exact-season stats. When a player can fill more than one open position, you choose the slot before confirming the pick. Multi-position players can later move into an empty eligible slot or swap with another compatible player.

HANDLE THE CLOCK

If time expires, a legal player is auto-picked. The host can pause, resume or force an auto-pick. A disconnected team receives a reconnect grace period and can be converted to CPU without losing its roster or draft position. A returning player can resume their saved team on the same device.

SIMULATE AND SHARE

After five rounds, every completed roster plays a shared 33-game simulated season. All devices receive the same final ladder, rosters, pick recap and result ID.
